Work on the following IRP assignments, plus any you have left to finish. You are responsible for completing the ones below on your own.
IRP #4: Illustration
Draw an illustration (that does not already exist) of a key moment in the story that could be placed on the cover of the book. Write a short caption (2-3 sentences) to go with it that explains why you drew this image.
IRP #7: Soundtrack
List five songs that could form the soundtrack to your book and explain why you chose each song in 2+ sentences. You may use lyrics (in quotes, PG-13 selections only) to help you explain why you chose a specific song.
IRP #9: "Be Creative" assignment
Provide a creative tie-in for your book (alternate ending, retelling fan fiction, comic strip, poem, board game, promotional action figure, etc.) that reflects your understanding of the book (its themes, characters, social/historical context, etc.
KEEP IN MIND: Your IRP is due to Ms. Ng at the end of next week (whenever you have her class).

Study for your first Odyssey quiz on Books 5 and 9. It will be 10 short-answer questions and you will have only the first 45 minutes of class to complete it.

Finish half a page of annotations for Book 9 (textbook pp. 986-99)
Make sure you already have TWO quotes for Book 5 in your heroism quote log
Add TWO quotes for Book 9 to your heroism quote log
Start character bios for: Odysseus, Hermes, Athena
Complete character bios for: Calypso, Polyphemus

PERIOD ONE and SIX ONLY: Since you have such a hard time remembering information, you must make flashcards for every character, place and term listed on the study guide.
You must do this even for the characters, places and terms we have not yet encountered. Simply create the flashcard and fill in the backside as we get to each one.
The information you put on your flashcards should be enough for you to recall this information quickly. Consider using the requirements for your character bios as a suggestion.
