Assignment 1 of 5:
Type a final draft of "Paragraph A" and have a printed hardcopy ready to turn in at the start of class on Wednesday the 30th.
 
Assignments to turn in on Wednesday (staple in this order):
Typed Final Draft (Times New Roman 12-point font, double-spaced)
Rough Draft (typed or handwritten)
Single-Paragraph Outline
Peer Editing Sheet (with five ratings and five sentences of explanation)
Graphic Organizer (completely filled out)
 
 
Assignment 2 of 5:
If you did not submit Paragraph B to the Google Classroom assignment entitled "Pass/No-Pass Gothic Elements CEL Paragraph" by the end of Monday or Tuesday's class, you may still turn it in for late credit.
 
To a get a 4, you must ...
-Upload it to Google Classroom by the end of your class period
-Complete the entire paragraph (claim sentence, setup, evidence 1, and so on)
-Cite both quotes perfectly (see me for further assistance if necessary)
 
Citation styles:
"________" (author's last name page #).     Ex. (Aiken 4).

"________!" (author's last name page #).
For dialogue + narration: "He said, '________'" (author's last name page #).

Assignment 3 of 5: 
Prepare to write your Found Poem for "What Happened During the Ice Storm" during class on Wednesday:
 
1)  Bring Pre-AP reader for Unit 2 to class
2)  Reread the story
3)  Select a "theme" or "idea" from the story to focus on
4)  Select one or two paragraphs from the story to focus on
 
 
Assignment 4 of 5 (ongoing):
Complete any late work specifically for the 10-week grading period (which ends Wednesday for me).
