Homework due Monday 10/7 + Tuesday 10/8
NOTE: bring your Pre-AP reader to Monday and Tuesday's classes next week.
Assignment 1 of 2:
Finish Parts 1 through 4 of the graphic organizer for "Lamb to the Slaughter". Don't worry about Parts 5 and 6---we'll do those on Monday/Tuesday in class.
Part 1 should have 4 complete sentences with specific unexpected actions Patrick takes (ones Mary does not suspect).
The first box in Part 2 should be answered in two sentences: one sentence on what you think Patrick's news was and another sentence with evidence from the text supporting your ideas.
The second box in Part 2 should be answered in one sentence.
Part 3 should be a complete sentence. Use the sentence frame provided. Remember that a sentence beginning with "while" will end with an idea that is opposite the beginning (Ex.: While sleep is important to staying healthy, it is not a good idea to sleep in class).
Part 4 should be answered in 2-3 sentences.
