Bill of Rights Project

  •        In groups of 3 or 4 , you are required to do the following:
    1.       The NAME of your country. You are required to explain why you selected the name of your country during your presentation.
    2.       FIFTEEN (15) RIGHTS that your group decided that represent your basic freedoms/principles of your country and known as your BILL OF RIGHTS.
    3.       For each RIGHT, your group is required to explain the rationale/reasoning behind the selected right when presenting in front of the class.
    4.       Create a PREAMBLE that discusses your country’s ideals and principles of democracy. This should be ONE PARAGRAPH that explain your group’s democratic principles and rights. Make sure to include the ideas of republicanism, popular sovereignty, social contract, and natural rights.

    5.       Design a FLAG that represents your country. You are required to explain the meaning/representation of your flag design when presenting
    6.       Design and explain your MOTTO that represents your principles/ideals of your country. This should be short and straightforward.
