Our goal for the Gertz-Merkin BSU is to ensure that we create a safe affinity space for our Black scholars.
Black Student Unions (BSUs) have been created to:
Build awareness, education, and consciousness about being a Black/African American person in society.
Promotes positive racial relations on campus by promoting mutual respect for all cultures.
During our BSU meetings, we will discuss:
Activities
Field trips
Goals (what we want our time to consist of)
And more!!
