Here is how:
  1. Download the MTA application and fill it out
  2. Take the application with your latest grade report or a letter of verification of enrollment or your 2011-2012 Student ID card to the MTA Customer Centers.  There is no charge for the card.
  3. You will get your card thru mail
  4. Students in grades 9-12 are required to provide an accompanying school photo ID when applying for and when riding with a Student TAP card.

Day Care Center Visit your local elementary school and ask about day care services. Many times after completing a certain amount of hours you can even be asked to work there.
